Victories just keep coming. Rajiv Ruparelia chalked up another victory in his nascent rallying career when he took the Kalangala Autocross (Enduro) sprint over the weekend.

Driving with his co-driver Enoch Olinga, Rajiv posted a time of 4:56 which was ahead of Andy Musoke’s 5:13.

This was his second victory in seven days having emerged winner in CLUB Rally Championship category during the Total Kabalega rally.

It also marked his fourth win in five attempts having won the FMU Autocross in Kayunga and the Mosac Autocross in Kapeeka in August.

After the victory Rajiv said: “Everyone wants to be number one or a winner, however [to me] any one who completes the race is a winner.”

Later the young businessman held a victory party to savour the moment in the company of his father, the business tycoon, Sudhir Ruparelia.
