Real Madrid Fans are shocked after learning about the unexpected resignation of their head Coach, French man Zinedine Zidane shortly after guiding them to their 13th and 3rd in a row UEFA Champions League title.

He has guided the European Club Football giants in 149 games, managing to scoop 104 wins, 393 goals.

The La Liga club announced a surprise press conference earlier today at 12pm BST at the Bernabeu, following doubts around the future of former player and manager Zidane, as well as Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale.

Zinedine Zidane

Zinedine Zidane played 155 times for Real Madrid and became a club legend, before taking over the B team, Castilla. Following the dismissal of Rafael Benitez in 2016, he led the first team to Champion’s League success in his debut season. He completed the double in his second season, winning La Liga and the Champions League, and beat Liverpool by 3 – 1 five days ago to set a new record of three European gongs in a row as a Coach.

However, it’s not known whether Zinedine Zidane will take some time to weigh up his options or dive straight back into management as they currently appear no any obvious vacancies.

Bayern Munich has already hired Niko Kovac as their next manager and PSG appointed Thomas Tuchel, Arsenal signed Unai Emery and Chelsea not yet decided whether to Continue with Antonio Conte next season or not.
