    Uganda Thumps Comoros 20 – 0 in COSAFA Women U17 Championship

    The COSAFA U17 Women Football tournament is going on in Mauritius with a number of nations competing for the championship in which Uganda participated as a guest nation.

    However, the girls are still flying high after they qualified out of the group stages following walloping Comoros 20 – 0 in the last match of the group.

    Uganda had first drawn with Zambia in the first match before beating the hosts, Mauritius 11 – 0 in their second group match.

    They will now be facing Botswana in the next knockout game (Semis) that will be played on this Friday, 27th of September.
