The 9th Edition of the HiPipo Music Awards has finally came to an end with a number of artists, entertainers and other personalities nominated receiving accolades accordingly.

However unlike in the previous editions, this year’s edition happened virtually as winners from over 40 categories as voted for by the music fans from across the Continent were revealed. This came in line with the Government’s COVID-19 guidelines where the finale that was originally scheduled for March 16th at Kampala Serena Hotel, owing to the global outbreak of the Corona Virus Pandemic was postponed to the 29th of May.

The event had top notch performances from Sheebah Karungi, Kenneth Mugabi, Roden Y, Triplets Ghetto Kids, Kian Banks, Triple S and many others where viewers streamed live on the HiPipo Facebook page beginning from 8:00pm.
