Ugandan riders humiliated the Kenyans in the FIM Central Africa Motocross Championship that happened on Easter Sunday in Busiika.

The absence of Maxime Van Pee was not felt because of the freestyle stunts that the youngster Stav Orland exhibited at all jumps, whipping the bike like he was going to fall any one. Not only that, the Orland brother’s trainer, Ray Leybovich was on top of his game, whipping the bike left to right to the glee of the cheering fans.

Though in the past it had been Arthur Blick Jr, Van Pee and others in the higher cc’s, this time it was the young stars who excited the fans most as none left the track until the event was done.

In the Peewee class, Pascal Kasozi and Jonathan Katende who are sons of the Motorsport Rally driver Ponsiano Lwakataka and his Navigator George Ssemakula respectively plus Cream Productions boss, Haruna Mubiru’s son Ramathan Mubiru made a day for the fans with a spectacular performance.

In the 50cc class, the battle of Gift Ssebuguzi, a son to another rally driver Ronald Ssebuguzi with William Blick Jr and his sister Isabella Blick excited fans during their tight contest.

Isabella finished second in the event to win the overall women Category for team Uganda.
