    Uganda Beats Eritrea 3 – 0 to win CECAFA 2019

    The Uganda Cranes have done it once again. The national team has been crowned the champions of the 2019 CECAFA Senior challenge cup that was hosted in the country.

    Uganda punished the Eritrean national team by 3 – 0 in the finals played today evening at Star times Stadium in Lugogo.

    This is the 15th time for the Uganda Cranes to win the CECAFA tournament, a record that makes it the team that has bagged most trophies! The CECAFA tournament is played by countries from Eastern and Central Africa.

    The 3 goals that brought the trophy to Uganda were scored by Bright Anukani, Mustafa Kizza and Joel Madondo.

    Meanwhile, in the 3rd place play offs, Kenya also beat Tanzania 2 – 1 and bagged the bronze medals.
