Miss Uganda 2019: 22 Final Contestants Unveiled

This year’s edition of the biggest beauty pageant in the country, Miss Uganda has yet reached another stage. Yesterday, Tuesday 25th June Evening was an evening joy and excitement in the Rwenzori ballroom at Sheraton Kampala Hotel as the finalists were unveiled.

A total of 22 finalists who were selected from different regions across the country were revealed during the presentation that attracted quite a good number of revelers despite a delayed start.

Contestants were called out by names by the emcee of the evening Cleopatra Koheirwe as they cat-walked on the runway with each being followed by acclamation from the audience.

The contestants will now head to a boot camp where they will take part in a series of buildup activities to ready them to take on the mantle of Miss Uganda.

The 2019 edition of Miss Uganda are oganised by Kezzi Entertainment, who are the franchise holders of the Miss World Pageant for Uganda since 2011, in partnership with Talent Africa.

The grand finale is scheduled to happen on the evening of July 27th still at the Sheraton Kampala Hotel, on the colorful event that will also see the attendance of reigning Miss World, mexican Leon De Ponce.
