Kabale Registers 10 Pregnancies Daily

Kabale district has registered 600 cases of teenage pregnancies in the last two months in a trend that is worrying officials.

Simply put, more than 10 girls under the age of 18 get pregnant on daily basis in the south-western district.

Monica Muhumuza, the Kabale District Probation Officer says her office recorded 1,867 cases of girls aged under 18 who were defiled and made pregnant between March 2020-March 2021.
