    S. Sudan 1 – 0 Uganda: Former SC Vipers Star Denies Cranes an early Afcon qualification

    The Uganda Cranes have registered their first loss in the AFCON 2021 Qualifiers after a defeat by South Sudan by 1 – 0.

    This was during a second leg encounter played in Kenya (a neutral ground) today evening, 16th November 2020.

    Former KCCA FC & SC Vipers attacking midfielder Tito Okello scored from the spot moments after Cranes Midfielder fouling from the danger zone and being sent off.

    This denies Uganda and early qualification but maintain second place in Group B behind Burkina Faso.

    Uganda won the first encounter four days earlier at St Mary’s Stadium Kitende by the a goal scored by debutant Halos Lwaliwa.
