Fresh from Nalufenya Prison where National Unity Platform (NUP) leader, Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine is being detained from is about his decline to sign Police bond papers in absence of his lawyers.

According to the Daily Monitor, sources within the police that preferred anonymity revealed that the Kyadondo East legislator was told to sign bond but he instead offered two options; to either be taken to court or unconditionally released without any charges.

Signing bond papers would mean he has to keep reporting at the facility as and when he’s wanted yet that would slow him down during his campaigns.

Meanwhile till now, Mr Kyagulanyi’s lawyers are still denied access to their the Pop star and have been directed to first meet the regional legal officer of police. Stay posted for more updates.
