Akon’s Wife to Invest US$12m in Uganda Music & Fashion

One of celebrated rapper Akon’s wives, Rozina Negusei is in Kampala to promote Uganda’s music and fashion with $12 million (about Shs 44 billion) investment boost.

“Looking for a hub, Africa Hollywood home; if we do entertainment whether movie, music award, every year, Uganda can become the home of entertainment industry,” she said.

Rozy as she’s fondly known is said to have travelled to Uganda with a group of Turkish investors from LCB Worldwide a multinational company who invests in host countries points of entry to conduct Prevention Solutions to combat pathogens which could lead to pandemics.

Rozy who is the president/ chief executive officers Zanar Entertainment, Entreeg Records and Entreeg Investment group, is a serial entrepreneur, having previously founded successful ventures in the entertainment and fashion industries. With a drive to succeed and an ambitious personality, Rozy got her foot in the music industry at a very young age, first as a Casting Director then Producer for music videos, collaborating with well-known artists like Jay Z, Usher, P. Diddy, and many more.
