Eng. Badru Kiggundu has commended the electoral commission for the work well done. He says the commission tried to ensure it serves the country in spite of critics and hurdles.
Speaking at the national tally Center Namboole where he announced President Yoweri Museveni as the newly elected president of the country, Kiggundu noted that his commission had tried to ensure that it serves the country in spite of the critics and hurdles that it faced along the way.

He added that it is now up to the state to announce a new commission that will learn from the past election history of the country so as to continue with the tradition of delivering free and fair elections to the country.

The Electoral Commission led by Eng. Dr. Badru Kiggundu has officially declared its end of term in office after many years in service to the nation.
