Nakakande Oliver Crowned Miss Uganda 2019

The search for the new beauty queen of Uganda is finally over.

The New Miss Uganda Shortly after Being announced by the Judges.

Ms Nakande Oliver has won the Miss Uganda beauty Contest 2019 to be crowned as the new Miss Uganda, replacing the reigning Miss World Africa  Quinn Abenakyo.

She faced great competition from the final five contestants, mostly No.7 Acen Patronella, the winner of Miss Uganda North 2019 who finished fourth. Others that reached included Elizabeth, Kusiima and Marian.

Miss Oliver was then crowned by Queens Abenakyo Quiin and Miss World Ponce de Leone who was also in attendance.

Miss World Africa Quinn Abenakyo with Miss World Vanessa Leone de Ponce were in the attendance.

Meanwhile, there was drama as the Miss pulse formerly known as Miss Popularity Sanita who earlier announced and handed a dummy check of Sh 2m was a few minutes stripped off the crown, claiming that there was a mistake in awarding the crown and the review was still going on.

Sylvia Alibhai on behalf of the Miss Uganda Franchise later revealed that the rightful winner will be crowned via social media platforms.

Anita Fabiola hosted the night.

The fateful night was hosted by TV personality Anita Fabiola and Deedan while business woman Zari Hussein was among the Judges
