Jose Chameleone is a Legend; Diamond Platinumz Acknowledges Uganda’s Music Industry

Tanzanian bongo flava singer and dancer Diamond Platnumz is in Uganda for Comedy store, tomorrow at UMA show grounds. Today, he has addressed media and assure them of am epic performance at the event during a press conference in Kampala.

However, the attention catching moment was when he acknowledged the Ugandan Music Industry, pointing out that he has great respect for legendary singer Jose Chameleone.

Ugandan music is the best music in East Africa and ranks well across Africa. I habe great respect for Jose Chameleone, he is a legend. He has done so much for Ugandan music and East African music. I wish to do a song with him one day” Diamond told press.

On his performance tomorrow, the ‘Tetema’ singer promised his fans that a 2hrs performance with most of his hits to be performed.

He also hinted on his trip to Jinja where he will head after the show.

I have heard about Jinja, its streams, river Nile, the parks and I want to go see them” he said.

Comedy Store tomorrow will be at 50,000ugx and 150,000ugx for VIP. According to Alex Muhangi, comedy Store proprietor all tables have been booked.
