KCCA FC receive Addis Ababa City Cup invitation

Reigning league champions KCCA FC have been invited to take part in the two week Addis Ababa City Cup.

The tourney that kicks-off this weekend is scheduled to end on October 22.

The Lugogo side only needs clearance from local football governing body FUFA to travel to Ethiopia.

KCCA FC will also use the tourney as trial games to prepare for the league after losing two games this season out of the eight played.

Sources indicate that KCCA has been placed in the same group with Ethiopian giants St George.  This means they are likely to face fellow Ugandans such as Robert Odongkara, Isaac Isinde, and Yasser Mugerwa who play for the Ethiopian side.

KCCA will also use the tournament to prepare for the CAF Champions League next year.
