    Triple Suicide Bombs in Kampala

    Two explosions have been reported in the heart of Kampala City. One at Kooki towers, opposite Central Police Station in Kampala and the other at Jubilee Insurance along Parliamentary Avenue.

    SUMMARY OF THE POLICE PRESSER
    • @PoliceUg confirmed that all 3 suicide bombers were killed in the Twin Blasts
    • CCTV footage shows The CPS suicide bomber blowing himself up.
    • The two suicide bombers at Parliamentary Avenue were disguised as boda boda riders.
    • Police confirms that 33 people were injured in the Twin Blasts, 17 of which were injured in the CPS Explosion, 5 are critically injured
    • An alleged 4th suicide bomber was pursued by police and disabled around bwaise, goes by the name Moze. Police then went to his home in Nansana Nabweru and discovered another suicide vest
    • All these are suspected to have links to the ADF

    BREAKING NEWS🚨
    It has been confirmed that there was a bomb scare in Nansana Municipality Katooke B, Nabweru Division. The bomb was abandoned in a house by an unknown person.
    According to eye witnesses, he was shot in the chest before he abandoned the bomb and rushed to hospital.
    He’s suspected to be part of attackers but later abandoned plan.
    Bomb squad has arrived at the scene.

    • 6 Confirmed dead, 2 were Police Officers
    • 27 persons have been injured and admitted at Mulago National Referral Hospital
    • 1 bomb was discovered at the transformer of Kooki Towers near CPS
    • 2 more bombs were discovered at Buganda Road Court
