Makindye Court Magistrate to Be Buried On Friday

According the official communication from Judiciary, the former Makindye Court chief Magistrate, Richard Mafabi, 51 who died on Sunday will be laid to rest on Friday in Sironko district.

Judiciary communications officer Solomon Muyita said, a funeral service will be held at All-saints Church Nakasero, Kampala, on Wednesday and will be followed by an overnight vigil at his home in Kampala before the body leaves for Sironko, Thursday morning.

Mafabi collapsed suddenly on Sunday afternoon and died as he was being rushed to Mukwaya General Hospital in Nsambya, Kampala, for treatment.

A post-mortem report indicates he died of a blood clot in the brain.

Mafabi was much known for his brevity in summoning the IGP Kale Kayihura and other 7 police officers to answercriminal charges of torturing Besigye supporters in June this year.
