Uganda Police has issued a notice indicating that it is investigating reports that a student was to be paid sh15m to plant bomb materials at Makerere University.

Reports say a male CoCIS student who was looking for a job in London was approached with a Shs 15million deal to put the bomb at the university. The proposed location was Block B during the examination period. And other major targeted areas were toilets, isolated hide outs in the building and congested rooms.

The police has issued a caution statement at the campus asking students to be careful, “be watchful, be vigilant, be alert and report any suspicious materials you come across to police on 0718792486 or 0701400668″
