Fufa Women Elite League
Olila WFC 6-0 She Makerere
Soroti’s Olila Women Football Club made their intentions of winning the league this season clear with a commanding victory against She Makerere.
Lethal forward Fazilah Ikwaput took matters into her own hands skinning Makerere as Olila registered a 6-0 win.
The lanky forward who is contending for this year’s best FUFA Female footballer accolade scored five of the six goals as Olila whitewashed She MAK in the game played on Sunday in Soroti.
Norah Alupo netted the other goal for Olila.
This was the first game that the Soroti based side were playing this season.
They were awarded three points on the opening match day after neighbours Eastern Heroes failed to turn up and now have six points in two games.
On Saturday, the game between Eastern Heroes and UCU Lady Cardinals ended prematurely after the former lost two players through injuries.
The game started an hour later than the scheduled time with the home side (Eastern Heroes) coming late.
The team could only afford to have the minimum required number of seven players but two got injured and the game could not proceed.
At the time of abortion (28th minute), UCU Lady Cardinals were leading 2-0 with Moreen Kinavudori and Yudaya Nakayenze scoring.
Fufa is yet to come out with a ruling over the matter.
