Busoga kingdom through the Prime minister Dr. Joseph Muvawala Nsekere on Tuesday confirmed that fans who want to watch the finals of the Masaza Cup tourney, which is organized by the kingdom, will view at no cost.
The tournament, in its second edition, will have its final games played this Saturday at Kyabazinga Stadium in Bugembe.
This counters the earlier communique which showed that access fees were Shs5,000 for ordinary tickets, Shs10,000 VIP and 50,000 VVIP.
The final match will be between Butembe and Bunha.
“Dr Nsekere has directed the organising committee to call match day tickets off the market and avail everyone in and around Busoga an opportunity to access Bugembe stadium at zero cost,” said kingdom officials in a statement.
Two time finalists Bunha will clash with inaugural finalists Butembe in a classic Busoga Masaza cup second edition 2017 finals before His Royal Highness the Kyabazinga of Busoga William Wilberforce Gabula Nadiope IV.
