President Yoweri Museveni has Monday afternoon taken a surprise tour on Uganda’s most beautiful and most expensive road, the Kampala Entebbe Expressway.
The road which spans 36.9km from Busega to Entebbe was started in 2012, funded jointly by the Government of Uganda, a soft loan from the EXIM bank of China totaling to US$470 million.
According to Presidential Press Secretary Lindah Nabusaayi, Museveni was from a working tour in Wakiso District.

Once completed, the road will see movement from Kampala to Entebbe reduced from 2 hours to 30 minutes.
