IGG Boss’ Mansion On Sale Over Debt

The Principal Inspectorate Officer at the Inspectorate of Government (IGG), Jane Tushemereirwe Mpeirwe and her husband Arthur Mpeirwe, a city lawyer are on the verge of losing their mansion over a huge loan.

The Mpeirwes’ mansion that is located in Plot 1352, Block 220 land at Mengo, Kyadondo has been put on sale after failing to service a bank loan.

According to a public notice, the prominent couple and other occupants of this house have been given a minimum of two weeks to vacate the premises to allow the buyers to inspect.

Jane and Arthur Mpeirwe had their names dented after the two were charged for reportedly soliciting for a Shs300m bribe from NSSF then Acting Managing Director, Geraldine Ssali.

Mpeirwe, a lawyer, was charged with being an “accomplice” on grounds that the bribe plan was hatched and solicited from his law firm- Mpeirwe & Co. Advocates.
