Club Guvnor Murder Suspect To Walk Free

Getting justice in this country is as difficult as the word itself.

Club Guvnor Murder suspect, Ivan Kamyuka, who allegedly stabbed John Ahimbisibwe aka Johnnie in August 2015 has been tipped to walk scot-free after it was revealed that his police file had gone missing.

State Prosecutor, Brian Kalinaki, told court headed by Justice Wilson Kwesiga this week that Kamyuka’s Police file is still being searched at Nakawa Chief Magistrate’s Court, where he was charged last year.

Kamyuka, 34, a human resource manager of Lake Bounty Ltd, a fish processing and exporting company, was granted bail by High Court judge, Justice Wilson Masalu Musene in October last year.

Ever since he was granted bail, Kamyuka has been living large in Sweden where he is a regular. It should be remembered that hardly a week after he was released, Kamyuka was pictured in Sweden smooching with Nina.

According to the charge sheet, Kamyuka, is accused of fatally stabbing Ahimbisibwe on August 2, 2015 in Guvnor on First Street, Industrial Area in Kampala.

Prosecution alleges that Kamyuka hit Ahimbisibwe with a broken glass after he came out of the club toilets and found that he had hit his wife Nina Nyarwaka.
